Cambodian Rice To Step foot into Chinese market under KHMER BRAND NAME
From June 14-16, 2024, TAING EANGHUOT RICE MILL, in partnership with HEFEI JIANXIANG DAMI Co., Ltd. from China, proudly participated in the GuangJiaoHui, one of China's largest annual grain expos. This prestigious event served as an excellent platform to showcase Cambodia’s finest rice varieties to the Chinese market, aiming to expand awareness and availability among Chinese consumers and foster collaborations with new local partners.
Featured at the expo were two of Cambodia’s premium rice offerings: Cambodian Jasmine Rice, a five-time winner of the World’s Best Rice Award and a celebrated staple in Cambodia, and Cambodian Fragrant Rice, which earned the Gold Award at the 2023 China-ASEAN Taste Quality Appraisal. These exceptional varieties attracted considerable interest from both consumers and distributors, praised for their rich aroma and superior taste. With such strong demand, we anticipate increased orders from our clients in the upcoming season, marking a successful step toward strengthening our market presence in China.
