Grant award ceremony
On December 6, 2023, TAING EANGHUOT Rice Mill officially received a grant from HARVEST III, funded by USAID, for its project titled "Enhancing Food Safety Standards by Upgrading Processing Lines and Strengthening Input Quality through Collaboration with Farmers." This project aims to increase the market presence of safe, high-quality Cambodian rice both locally and internationally. With support from HARVEST III, we plan to develop a Supply Chain Tracking System to trace our products from farm to table, engage at least 50 farming families through contract farming, and provide training to ensure high-quality inputs and secure market access for farmers. Additionally, we aim to achieve HACCP certification and finalize export agreements with international buyers as part of the project.
