How to produce compost organic fertilizer
On September 12, 2023, with the support of local authorities, TEH Rice Mill conducted a training session on "How to Produce Compost Organic Fertilizer" for its contracted partners in Prey To Toung Village, Bay Dam Ram Commune, Banon District, Battambang Province. The training aimed to reduce reliance on chemical fertilizers, lower farming costs, enhance soil quality, and improve crop quality and taste.
Mr. CHEANG PANARITH, an agronomist with over 10 years of experience, led the training. He shared three methods for making compost organic fertilizer, including two types of dry compost and one liquid compost. Participants also received ongoing support from our team and had the opportunity for hands-on practice at a demonstration field within their community.
This training was supported by Cambodia Harvest III and USAID Cambodia as part of their project to promote safe products and enhance the competitiveness of Cambodian SMEs.
